Floral Mesh WreathSummer Wreath Ideas

  • 14″ Wreath Form
  • 5-6 Rolls of White Deco Mesh
  • 3 Rolls of Green Deco Mesh
  • Wire Chenille Stems (cut in half)
  • 1 White Foam Disk
  • 6-Stem Faux Dahlia or Carnation Bush (yellow)
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Sticks
  • Hot Glue Gun (Not Sold at Dollar Tree)
  • Twine or Metal Wreath Hanger

Here’s How You Do It!

  1. First, cut 8″ strips from the roll of the green deco mesh.  You will need about 60 strips of the green mesh to create the leaves.
  2. Fold opposite corners of the green mesh strips towards the center, and pinch the sides together to create a bowtie shape.  Wrap a chenille stem around the center of the green mesh strip, and attach it to the outer rim of the wreath form.  Continue doing this until the green mesh is attached around the entire outer rim.
  3. Next, cut 12″ strips of the white deco mesh.
  4. To create the white petals, fold the strip of white deco mesh in half.  At the fold, take the two top corners and bend them downward to create the shape of a petal.  Pinch the bottom corners together, and wrap a chenille stem around the bottom to secure the shape.  Adjust the shape of the petal as necessary and then attach the white petal to the wreath form, overlapping the green mesh leaves.  Continue creating and attaching petals to the wreath form until you have created a flower shape.
  5. Hot glue the white foam disk in the center of the wreath.  Pull the faux dahlia or carnation flowers off of the stems and hot glue them on to the foam disk to create the center of the flower.
  6. Use twine or a metal wreath hanger to hang from your front door!
