Add Spring to Your DecorationsWe’ve all been there… sitting on the couch with our glass of wine filling our “Dream Home” Pinterest board with adorable décor ideas. You’re probably filling your boards with tons of spring ideas these days. Most of the time, though, those ideas don’t come to life, either because the supplies are too expensive or it would just take up too much time. Well, have no fear, dear! You can DIY it up in less than an hour using $1 supplies from Dollar Tree. I’m sharing my three ideas, but get creative with our products and turn your own Pinterest board into a reality!

Floral Curtain Tie-Backs

Give your windows a spring makeover! Let the light shine in by pulling your curtains aside with these DIY curtain tie-backs made with faux flowers from Dollar Tree.

Here’s What I Used:

  • Faux Flowers (Pick your faves!)
  • Twine
  • Hot Glue Gun (Not Sold at Dollar Tree)
  • Hot Glue Sticks
  • Scissors

How to Tie Together This Look:

  1. Separate the flowers from the stems and leaves.
  2. Use scissors to cut the twine to size, leaving enough length to loop around your curtain panel and tie together.
  3. Pull the flowers and leaves with holes through the twine in any order and arrangement you’d like, leaving a few inches of twine on each end.Pull the flowers through the twine
  4. Hot glue more flowers on top of the ones you pulled through the twine, ensuring that all flowers and leaves are attached securely to the twine.Glue flowers on the twineUse twine to tie back your curtains
  5. Once you have your arrangement how you want it, use the ends of the twine to tie around your curtain panel. Repeat these steps to create floral tie-backs for all of your window curtains!

Glass Jar Tissue Holder

Glass jars can be used for so many craft projects and I love adding them into my décor! Here’s how to turn one into a pretty tissue holder for spring.

Here’s What I Used:

  • Glass Jar
  • Box of Tissues
  • Spray Paint in Your Favorite Spring Color (Not Sold at Dollar Tree)

Start by laying the glass jar on some scrap newspaper. Spray paint the outside of the jar and let dry, then apply a second coat if needed. Once the paint is dry, take the tissues out of the box and place them inside the jar. Easy peasy! You can get even more creative and add designs or decorations on your tissue holder.Spray paint the glass jarInsert the tissues into the jar

Pebble Coasters

This is such a simple way to spruce up your coasters. Plus, they’ll look great next to that tissue holder you just made!

Here’s What I Used:

  • Coasters
  • Pebbles or Stones
  • Hot Glue Gun (Not Sold at Dollar Tree)
  • Hot Glue SticksCoaster Supplies

Start by laying out all of the pebbles. Flat pebbles work best! I recommend first going through and picking out the ones you want to use on each coaster. Hot glue the pebbles onto the coaster, covering the entire surface. Make sure you hold them firmly for a few seconds to ensure that they really stick in place. What a unique addition to coffee tables and kitchen tables.Coaster PebblesTissue holder and pebble coasters
