Spring and summer leave me craving all things floral and bright! Therefore, this year, I decided to try something different by using Dollar Tree’s foam wreath form, cupcake liners, and ribbon to create a frilly, fun wreath for my front door! I folded and flattened each cupcake liner to form a flower-like petal and layered each cupcake liner petal on top of another to form a beautiful full arrangement. Once complete, these paper petals give the allusion of a flower plus, the design of the liners give the wreath a fun spring or summer feel. Choose from a variety of colored and patterned liners, and pair with a ribbon and bow that coordinates. This dainty design is so unique and will cost you just a few bucks to make!
Gather Your Supplies:
Follow Along Step-by-Step:
- Fold a cupcake liner in half and flatten with your hands.
- Apply the folded liner directly to the wreath form with a few dots of hot glue, petal facing up.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2, layering each folded liner on top of one another until the entire wreath is covered.
- Apply a bow to your wreath to finish the frilly look.
Hang from your front door for a cheerful welcome!
