Fun Easter IdeasThe Easter bunny will be hopping to your door before you know it! Our family loves to decorate for Easter and we tend to go all out. We decorate everything from our doors and walls, to our front yard and mantel. Decorating for any occasion typically can cost a good amount of money, however it doesn’t have to when you shop at Dollar Tree!

This year, I made it a challenge to see if I could get everything I needed from Dollar Tree to host my Easter gathering. This includes formal dinnerware, decorations, Easter eggs and grass, Easter baskets, candy, dying kits… the list goes on and on. Well wouldn’t you know, I did it! I was able to get everything I needed from my local Dollar Tree, plus a little more since I was under budget. Check out everything I got below and see how I made it all come together!

It’s All About the Thrill of the HuntFun Easter Ideas

For my outdoor decor, I used various Easter signs, planters, faux floral, and Easter eggs throughout my yard. They made my daughter’s egg hunt even more fun and colorful!

DIY Home Décor? Say No More!Fun Easter Ideas

Here is What You’ll Need:

  • Vases and Candleholders
  • Easter Plush
  • Easter Signs
  • Faux Greenery, Succulents, and Floral
  • Twine
  • Jute Carrots
  • Burlap Banner
  • Wooden Letters
  • Paint
  • Painbrushes
  • 8×10-in. Picture Frames
  • Hot Glue Gun (Not Sold at Dollar Tree)
  • Hot Glue Sticks
  • Speckled Easter Eggs
  • Faux Moss
  • Candles
  • Fairy Lights
  • Wire Wreath Form
  • Branches (I used some I found in my yard)
  • Burlap Ribbon

Here’s How Ya Do It!

  1. For the banners, I used looped and tied twine around the jute carrots in order to create the top banner. I then took the burlap flag banner, painted “Easter” letters in black, and glued them on individually to each flag.
  2. I then created an Easter egg tree by hot gluing a vase to a candleholder and placing faux moss, branches, and Easter eggs inside of the vase. I even hung Dollar Tree’s mini Easter egg decor from a few of the branches!
  3. I then filled in my mantel with various greenery, faux floral, lights, candles, signs, and more!
  4. As the main piece for my mantel, I created a fun Easter egg wreath by hot gluing speckled Easter eggs to a wire wreath form. I then filled in the gaps by hot gluing moss in the empty areas. Finally, I tied a burlap ribbon bow to the top of the wreath and hung it to this DIY farmhouse window décor I made out of picture frames!
  5. Finally, I spruced up either side of my mantel with various décor such as candles, greenery, faux floral, Easter signs and plush, and more!Fun Easter IdeasFun Easter Ideas
