Summer may be winding down, but the fun doesn’t have to stop! For me and my family, we still have tons of things on our summer bucket list (no pun intended) to cross off. Plus, we have a few housewarming parties, birthday parties, and cookouts to go to before school starts again.
My favorite go-to summer gift for any of these occasions is a bucket filled with summer fun essentials. I shop at Dollar Tree (of course!) and fill up on the person’s favorite things. These are a great last-minute gift, not to mention there’s no need for wrapping. Great for any age, you can find summer favorites for everyone. One summer bucket I made recently was for a fun-loving 8-year-old. I snagged these goodies: a wooden airplane, a jump rope, sidewalk chalk, and more.
I also made a summer fun bucket for one of my girlfriends, complete with a new plastic tumbler, lemonade mix, handheld fan, sunglasses, sunscreen, and magazine to read poolside. The possibilities are endless. And hey, while you’re stocking up on supplies to make summer fun buckets, be sure to make one for your family to keep in the backyard. Y’all deserve to have buckets of fun, too!
