This weekend, I’m hosting a spring baby shower for my dear friend who is expecting a sweet little baby girl! And of course, I plan on decorating the party with all things pink, floral, and girly. So, I went to Dollar Tree to stock up on party supplies and I may or may not have gone a little overboard… I walked in for just paper plates, cups, and balloons, but walked out with SO much more. Don’t you love it when that happens? My basket was literally filled to the brim with faux flowers, clay pots, floral moss, pebbles, and pom-poms! Here’s how easy it is to put together this precious, springtime look…
Pom-Pom Wall Garland
The party will be at my house, so I’m dressing up my plain walls with pom-pom garland! I cut some pink yarn to size and glued on pom-poms, leaving a few inches of space in between each one. Once the glue dried, I alternated my handmade garland with premade paper pom-pom garland. Dollar Tree sells them ready to go, so all you have to do is fluff and hang. What a fun way to dress up the entryway, kitchen, and living room walls for the party!
Girly Gift Table
I want the gift table to be decked out in pretty pink flowers, so I took three clay pots and filled them with pebbles. Then, I added faux flowers inside each pot. I arranged the potted flowers on the table and surrounded them with green moss and a few more flower blossoms. The gift table will go near the front door, so I’m thinking this spring display will be a bright welcome for guests.
Now that the decorations are checked off my to-do list, it’s time to prep the food for the party! Lucky for me, I shopped in Dollar Tree’s frozen and refrigerated food section while I was there. It’s the ultimate party food hack for those of us planning a party on a budget.
